Loan Officers | Remote
The Fox Mortgage Team, LLC is looking for motivated, dependable, and experienced Licensed Mortgage Loan Officers to join our growing team.
We are a veteran-family-owned mortgage brokerage dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve homeownership through exceptional customer service and personalized mortgage solutions.
This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home while maintaining daily communication with our team, borrowers, and referral partners.
Be on time and ready to work during established working hours.
Check the company website and loan application portal daily for new applications.
Contact new leads and follow up with potential borrowers promptly.
Take, review, structure, and submit mortgage loan applications.
Review borrower income, credit, assets, and financial documentation.
Assist borrowers with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and other mortgage loan programs.
Manage loan files from application through closing.
Communicate regularly with borrowers, processors, underwriters, and real estate agents.
Actively market yourself and The Fox Mortgage Team to generate new business.
Build relationships with Realtors, builders, and referral partners.
Attend networking events and participate in community marketing activities.
Follow up with past clients and maintain strong customer relationships.
Keep the loan origination system updated and maintain an organized pipeline.
Meet company production expectations and provide excellent customer service.
Follow all company policies and mortgage lending regulations.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Must hold an active MLO license in at least one U.S. state.

Knowledge of mortgage loan products and lending guidelines.
Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.

Although this is a work-from-home position, Loan Officers are expected to maintain a consistent work schedule, remain available throughout established working hours, and communicate regularly with the team.
Loan Officers must actively check incoming applications, follow up with borrowers, originate loans, and continuously work toward generating new business.
This is an active loan origination and sales position, not simply a position for receiving incoming leads. Successful candidates must be willing to market themselves, establish referral relationships, and grow their loan pipeline.

Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in any U.S. state required
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
Must hold an active MLO license in at least one U.S. state
Experience originating residential mortgage loans
Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loan programs
Experience working with borrowers, real estate agents, and lending partners
Familiarity with mortgage loan applications, documentation, and the loan approval process
Ability to manage loan files from application through closing
Previous experience generating leads and building referral relationships preferred

Keep loan files, client records, and the loan origination system updated.
Meet established production goals and maintain an active loan pipeline.
Follow all company policies and federal and state mortgage lending regulations.
Represent The Fox Mortgage Team, LLC professionally at all times.
